Rebecca Slaman

Bio
I am an NYC-based writer with a BA in English and Classics from Fordham University. I've been cited as a Bob Dylan expert at conferences in Tulsa and Miami, where I've given presentations on fan culture. I've also appeared on various Bob Dylan podcasts.
I've been published in the Dylan Review, National Sawdust, Grain of Salt magazine, The Broadway Beat, and college publications The Fordham Observer & The Comma. I have a music writing newsletter called PhilosopHer of Modern Song, where I do both fiction and nonfiction writing. I currently work as Marketing Associate at Film at Lincoln Center.
MY PERSPECTIVE:
I study the science of content creation and audience engagement. Through my interest in fan culture, I have learned skills in Adobe Photoshop, video editing, and the language of the Extremely Online. I analyze social media and pop culture like it's my job.
