Rebecca Slaman
Bio

I am an NYC-based writer who graduated from Fordham University Lincoln Center in 2020 with a BA in English and Classics. I've been cited as a Bob Dylan expert at conferences in Tulsa and Miami, where I've given presentations on fan culture. I've also appeared on various Bob Dylan podcasts.
Previously, I have been a staff writer at The Fordham Observer, Grain of Salt Magazine, and theatre satire publication The Broadway Beat. Splinter, Fordham's musical theatre group, would be remiss without my choreography, assistant direction, sound design, and dramaturgy. I currently work as house manager at Film at Lincoln Center.

MY PERSPECTIVE:
I study the science of content creation and audience engagement. Through my interest in fan culture, I have learned skills in Adobe Photoshop, video editing, and the language of the Extremely Online. I analyze social media and pop culture like it's my job, so why not help me make it one?
